Some channels from Sun Network has started in HD and they are Sun Tv HD, Ktv HD, Sun Music HD & Gemini Tv HD. Dth help forums got busy with that news and all started jumping. Some forums came out with pictures. One member MJ786 was the first to come out with screen shots of that channel and he posted that in http://www.dthhelp.com/Thread-Breaking-News-First-Look-Gemini-HD-images In his first picture we can just see the logo with no image in the background. In a way he is first in getting Gemini HD.

Later in the night other forums also caught up and everyone started posting pictures of these new so called HD channels.
There were news intially that they are to be officially launched on December 11th 2011. But they started coming on Sun Direct HD on December 10th late evening. The content is same of their standard definition channels and only HD word is added in the logo of their HD channels.
In case of NGC HD or Discovery HD which gave SA Feeds which doesnt had any commercials. In the case of Zee HD (which started the era of upscaling and calling them as HD) has commercials because it is just normal feed which is being upscaled and it doesnt have HD logo unlike Sun.

In the case of Sun Network HD channels everything is same except HD logo with normal TV commercials even after paying premium price for these so called HD channels.

Looking at the images it looks like they have simply upscaled their standard definition feed and added HD logo.
